K50289 Application Tool

K50289 Tool Tension Settings:

All 3/16” (4.6 mm) ties: 0-4

All 5/16” (7.9 mm) ties: 0-6

Warning: Always wear safety glasses when operating hand tool.

Maximum Operating Temperature: Epoxy coated ties = 300°F (149°C)

Uncoated ties = 572°F (300°C)

Minimum Loop Tensile Strength:

200 lbs. (890N) 3/16” (4.6mm) Epoxy coated ties

200 lbs. (890N) 3/16” (4.6mm) Uncoated ties

300 lbs. (1334N) 5/16” (7.9mm) Epoxy coated ties

300 lbs. (1334N) 5/16” (7.9mm) Uncoated ties

1. Wrap Ball-Lok Tie around Object.

2. Tighten clamp either by hand or with the K50289 Application Tool.

(K50289 tool will cut off clamp tail automatically.)

3. Cut off clamp tail when tightening clamps by hand.
